In AI image to text generators, “Latent Space” is the mathematical representation of a line of text. As an artist working in Midjourney, I use text to travel to a specific place in the latent space, and then capture views from that digital vantage point.
This collection of Midjourney captures, stylized as digital paintings, explores the beauty of Michigan and the Great Lakes. By using bright colors and exaggerated compositions I hope to bring joy and optimism, as well as inspire reflection on our environment, technology, and the role of AI in the future.
